Chelsea Thomas, M.S., is a professional communicator with more than 15 years of strategic communication experience in both the academic and industry realms. Her expertise centers in social media and health promotion, with a focus on enhancing the two-way communication of health-related content to target audiences through simplified communication, digital tools and strategies. She crafts curriculum and content that help elevate the proficiency of health communicators in the academic and industry arenas. Chelsea has served as a plenary speaker, conference speaker, course developer and industry consultant for organizations nationally. She serves as an Executive Board Member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Coeur d’Alene, ID. Chapter, and is the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) advisor for WSU’s Bateman Team, overseeing the development and implementation of student-led, nationally-recognized public relations health campaigns.
