Master Sergeant Dave Walker is the Program Manager for the Drug Demand Reduction and Outreach team for the TN National Guard. With more than 23 years of service, 13 with his current organization, and deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan as a communications and operations professional, he is responsible for developing and training community drug prevention coalitions, as well as connecting them to resources and each other. He is certified as a DoD Joint Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator, an Army Civil Operations Specialist, a Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) Trainer of Trainers, as well as a Security Plus professional and is currently working to become a Certified Prevention Specialist and a SAPST Master Trainer.
